Guitars...

Always we have to write about a free topic I get a lot of problems. At the beginning, I can't get the enough creativity to start to write faster. Well, now I'll make an effort and choose a topic. So, I'll work with the first thing that comes to my head. In this moment, I've got an idea related with one of the things that I enjoy most: the guitars.

For this situation, I don't make a story about how guitars exist, but describe three different types of guitars I've played. First, when I was a teenager I begin to play an acoustic guitar with nylon strings. This type of guitars uses to be easy to learn how to play because its strings are light to press. Moreover, these guitars use to be cheaper, something perfect for a teenager who starts to play an instrument and he has not enough money.

Next, I had a really beautiful guitar. This was a green electroacoustic with steel strings. This type of guitar are enough versatile, as it could sound like an acoustic guitar when is not plugged and like and electroacoustic guitar (or electric, too) when is it. Unfortunately, my green guitar had an accident and now it’s broken.

Finally, the last year I got a red electric guitar. Usually, this type of guitars is related with rock music, but you can play anything you want with one of these. While you have a good amplification and a lot of pedals and effects, you could make sound this guitar really heavy or softly clean. I love this type of guitars because of that.

Naturally, I know there are a lot of instruments, each with different and interesting features. If you enjoy the music, you may know more about you want.

Reading now: thoughts about violence

Lately, I've been reading many things because I'm in period of tests. However, I want to put the focus on some lectures refer to the subject "Thoughts about violence in the psycho-legal field". These texts —from Thomas Hobbes to Michel Foucault, passing by W. Benjamin, R. Esposito, H. Arendt, etc.— are about reflections from philosophical politic and social science, that treat about the different ideas of violence and how it displays its numerous mechanisms and forms in the societies along human history. Clearly, the topics of these texts allude to the academic way to see and think the reality.

Fortunately, I enjoyed reading and studying these things very much last week. I think this topic is relevant because to think violence as a problem that is part of our human condition, as in the past and present, is very important for the develop of the knowledge about ourselves and all the things that we are and do. Moreover, it's very interesting to know the different approaches of the authors to the concept of violence in the modernity.

Thus as the teacher let us a link to visit and learn more about neuroscience, I'll do the same. I want to share a text that works the topic of violence along the history from the notion of "immunitas". Unfortunately, the text is not in English, so you'll have to read in Spanish (very difficult... hahaha).

Greatest Chilean of all time: Pablo Neruda

I want to start telling you I think nationality is not important for me. In that sense, if I choose a person because it's Chilean, it will be arbitrary.

Well, this time I'll work with Pablo Neruda. He was a Chilean poet, diplomat and politician. His real name was Ricardo Neftalí Reyes Basoalto.

Neruda was and is very important to poetry of the XX century. Some authors say Neruda was the best poet in his time. Often, his works were about love, erotic romance and nature. One of his curiosities is that he always wrote with green ink.

Neruda had many houses around Chile. The most relevant could be La Sebastiana in Valparaiso, La Chascona in Santiago and, the most important for him, Isla Negra, located in El Quisco. He used to decorate his houses with many ornament, souvenirs and strange objects brought from other countries. He had the chance to travel many times around the world, as a poet as a diplomat.

He was with a lot of women during his life, but the last and most important for him was Matilde Urrutia, who was the most loved by him. In fact, Neruda decided to get married with her in Isla Negra.

If I had the possibility to ask him something, I'd like to do about how to be more persuasive with the people, specially with women, hahaha. People says that Neruda had a mysterious power to win women over, a skill very interesting to any man.

Clearly, I didn't meet Pablo Neruda, but I really had liked it because I consider he could has been a smart and sensitive person, very interesting and enigmatic. I hope to know somebody like him in my life.

Great Detective Conan

I remember a lot of TV programs that I watched when I was child, but I choose the next because I think it was particularly special to me. I mean that, in some way, I had liked to be as the principal character (like all children with his favorite series). This program is called Case Closed or, as I knew it, Detective Conan (in Latin America).

Detective Conan is an anime series that tells the story of the detective Shinichi Kudo (Bobby Jackson in LA) and how he is forced to drink a poison that becomes him in a child, Conan Edogawa. He, with his friends, lives many adventures resolving a lot of cases and crimes, having to escape from the bandits Gin and Vodka. Also, as Shinichi, he had a relationship with Ran Mouri (Claudia in LA) that is broken because of the incident. However, by coincidence he stays living with her as child, hiding his identity to protect her. They go by much funny situations along the story.

Fundamentally, I enjoyed this anime series because it had much suspense and action in every episode. The protagonist always reaches to resolve the troubles with his intelligence and ending so well. In many ways, Detective Conan was it that many boys want to be: a smart guy who can face every situation with success.

Routine

Often is hard to start to write about anything, maybe because always that we does it, we put something of ourselves. In this blog I'll try to write thinking about differents points of view, ending with a personal position.

Now, I've chosen tell you briefly about routine and its implications in our lives. For that, I'll understand routine like all the tasks, activities, actions, movements, etc., that all the people regularly shall do during the day. Specifically, we have to recognize our routines like modern routines, generated in a modern society. Therefore, our activities are through by meanings related with the capitalism production and its other part: the consumption. This is a essential idea to understand the structure and characteristics of all our routines.

Day by day, we have to set up the clocks for wake up in a determinate hour, delimiting our dream hours. The meaning of that is to be active for the differents modern duties, like work or study for, in the future... work, and work, and be a good producer. After take a shower, dress up, etc., we travel to our duties. Generally, we may have a lot of diffrent possibilities of occupations, much of that doesn't make us meaning, or a little fun. It's complicated to find a work which have an important meaning for the society and/or oneself, and that is funny or interesting. At the end, after eight hours in our jobs, we have to come back to our houses and make all the duties belong to it. We almost never have time to interact with our family, friends or whatever that we want to speak, because time is not much. We have to consider that work is tiring. Finally, we go to the bed with a lot of preoccupations and no smile or happiness.

Foregoing, it's deduced some questions. For what do we have to do all that things? Why do we keep doing our routine if it's unpleasant? While much times people keeps all the rules, following the routine, others must try to stop and make this questions. We can't keep doing it like nothing really important is happen in the city, in the society, in the reality.
